Ace FollowUps is a SaaS product that helps businesses manage customers, follow-ups, customer history, and receipts. This Privacy Policy explains our current information practices.
1. Information We Collect
When you create or use an Ace FollowUps account, we may collect account and authentication information, such as your email address and information needed to secure your account. Authentication and application data are handled using Supabase.
Businesses may enter customer and contact information into the service, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, follow-up dates and times, notes, references, estimated values, message content, customer history, receipts, and related business records.
If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes subscription and payment information. Ace FollowUps does not directly store full payment-card details when Stripe handles that information.
We also receive technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as basic request, device, and application activity information. To help prevent repeated free-trial abuse, Ace FollowUps may retain pseudonymized hashed identifiers such as a normalized email hash and a Stripe payment-method fingerprint hash. Ace FollowUps does not store raw payment-card numbers or CVC; payment-card processing remains handled by Stripe.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve Ace FollowUps; authenticate users; manage customers, follow-ups, customer history, and receipts; send scheduled follow-up emails through a connected Gmail account; process subscriptions; respond to support requests; and protect the service from misuse.
We use business and customer records to provide the features and workflows the business requests. We do not sell personal information.
3. Google User Data and Gmail Permissions
Ace FollowUps allows a business user to connect a Google/Gmail account so Ace FollowUps can send follow-up emails and receipts that the user creates or schedules through the service. To provide this feature, Ace FollowUps requests the Gmail sending permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send.
Ace FollowUps may also receive basic Google account information needed to identify and maintain the connected account, such as the Google account email address and OAuth authorization information.
Ace FollowUps does not use the gmail.send permission to read the user's Gmail inbox, existing emails, email history, drafts, contacts, or other Gmail content. Ace FollowUps does not request broader Gmail permissions when the sending permission is sufficient.
Google user data and OAuth credentials are used only to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and support the user-facing Gmail sending functionality requested by the user.
Ace FollowUps does not use Google user data for advertising, targeted advertising, lending or credit decisions, or other unrelated purposes. Ace FollowUps does not sell Google user data. Ace FollowUps does not transfer Google user data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for unrelated purposes.
Ace FollowUps does not use raw, derived, aggregated, or anonymized Google Workspace API user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Ace FollowUps does not transfer Google Workspace API user data to third-party AI or machine-learning services for model training.
Ace FollowUps does not create aggregated or anonymized datasets from Gmail message data for analytics, advertising, profiling, or sale.
OAuth credentials or tokens are stored only as necessary to maintain the Gmail connection and provide authorized email-sending functionality. Access is limited to the systems and service operations necessary to provide and protect the feature.
Users may disconnect Gmail from Business Settings at any time. During the disconnect process, Ace FollowUps attempts to revoke the applicable Google token and deletes the stored Google connection record, including stored OAuth credentials, from its database. Disconnecting Gmail stops Ace FollowUps from using that Gmail connection for future sends. Emails already sent and non-Google business records saved in Ace FollowUps may remain as described in the Retention and Deletion section.
The use of information received from Google APIs by Ace FollowUps will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Service Providers
Supabase provides authentication and database services for account and application data. Stripe processes subscriptions and payments for the Pro plan. Google provides the OAuth and Gmail services used when a business connects Gmail for sending follow-up emails.
Service providers receive only the information necessary to provide, secure, maintain, or support their respective services. Ace FollowUps does not sell Google user data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Google user data is not transferred to third parties for unrelated purposes.
5. Subscription and Trial
Ace FollowUps Pro costs $19.99 per month after a 3-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial. Stripe handles the checkout and subscription payment process. The applicable subscription terms shown during checkout control billing, renewal, and cancellation.
6. Data Security
We use access controls and the security features provided by our application and service providers to help protect information. OAuth credentials and tokens are handled through server-side systems and access controls and are not intentionally exposed to other Ace FollowUps users. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
7. Retention and Deletion
Google OAuth connection credentials and tokens are retained only as necessary to maintain the connected Gmail account and provide authorized email-sending functionality. When a user disconnects Gmail, Ace FollowUps attempts to revoke the applicable Google token and deletes the stored Google connection record and its stored OAuth credentials from the application database.
Ordinary Ace FollowUps business records, including account, customer, follow-up, receipt, message, and sent-email records, may remain for as long as needed to provide the service, operate the account, preserve requested business history, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Disconnecting Gmail does not automatically delete these non-Google business records.
Ace FollowUps may retain limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, audit, or transaction records for as long as reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, protect the service, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When an account is deleted, Ace FollowUps may retain a minimal, non-reversible or pseudonymized anti-fraud and anti-abuse record, such as hashed identifiers, solely to prevent repeated free-trial abuse. This retained record is not used for advertising. To request account or personal-data deletion, contact us at the address below.
8. Your Choices
You may choose whether to connect Gmail. You may disconnect it from Business Settings. You may update information you have entered and choose which customer follow-ups and receipts to create. You may cancel your subscription through the available Stripe subscription-management tools.
9. Children’s Privacy
Ace FollowUps is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service or our practices change. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the date below.
