Ace FollowUps is a SaaS product that helps businesses manage customers, follow-ups, customer history, and receipts. This Privacy Policy explains our current information practices.
1. Information We Collect
When you create or use an Ace FollowUps account, we may collect account and authentication information, such as your email address and information needed to secure your account. Authentication and application data are handled using Supabase.
Businesses may enter customer and contact information into the service, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, follow-up dates and times, notes, references, estimated values, message content, customer history, receipts, and related business records.
If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes subscription and payment information. Ace FollowUps does not directly store full payment-card details when Stripe handles that information.
We also receive technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as basic request, device, and application activity information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve Ace FollowUps; authenticate users; manage customers, follow-ups, customer history, and receipts; send scheduled follow-up emails through a connected Gmail account; process subscriptions; respond to support requests; and protect the service from misuse.
We use business and customer records to provide the features and workflows the business requests. We do not sell personal information.
3. Google User Data and Gmail Permissions
Ace FollowUps lets a business connect a Google/Gmail account so the service can send scheduled follow-up emails on that business's behalf. To provide this feature, Ace requests Gmail sending permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send. Ace may also request permission to identify the connected Google account.
Google user data and OAuth credentials or tokens are used only as necessary to provide the Gmail sending feature, maintain that connection, troubleshoot it, and support or improve user-facing features that are prominent in Ace FollowUps. Ace does not use Google user data for unrelated advertising or sell it.
Ace stores OAuth credentials or tokens only as necessary to keep the connected Gmail sending feature working. Access to this information is limited to the systems and service operations needed to provide the feature. You can disconnect Gmail from Business Settings. Disconnecting stops future use of that connection, although messages already sent and business records already saved may remain in the account until deleted.
4. Service Providers
Supabase provides authentication and database services for account and application data.
Stripe processes subscriptions and payments for the Pro plan.
Google provides the OAuth and Gmail services used when a business connects Gmail for sending follow-up emails.
5. Subscription and Trial
Ace FollowUps Pro costs $19.99 per month after a 3-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial. Stripe handles the checkout and subscription payment process. The applicable subscription terms shown during checkout control billing, renewal, and cancellation.
6. Data Security
We use access controls and the security features provided by our application and service providers to help protect information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
7. Retention and Deletion
We retain account, business, customer, follow-up, receipt, and connection information for as long as needed to provide the service, operate the account, meet legitimate business and legal needs, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention may differ by record type.
You can disconnect Gmail, update business information, and delete or manage records through available product controls. To request account or personal-data deletion, contact us at the address below. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or legitimate records of transactions.
8. Your Choices
You may choose whether to connect Gmail. You may disconnect it from Business Settings. You may update information you have entered and choose which customer follow-ups and receipts to create. You may cancel your subscription through the available Stripe subscription-management tools.
9. Children’s Privacy
Ace FollowUps is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service or our practices change. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the date below.
